Revelations
The Old Pueblo By Night Newsletter
'Revelations' has an astonishingly old history. It started as the
semi-in-character newsletter of the Sanguine Epiphany (and isn't that a
name we all miss), and has continued it's format to the present day.
There are both in and out of character articles, with an assumed
"security" for the newsletter (i.e. no plots are allowed to form around
the newsletter falling into the hands of the Inquisition or whatnot.)
In this way we get a sort of forum and a fun sidelight to goof around
with, as well as a good way to make necessary out of character
announcements (like where games are going to be, etc.)
Eventually, we'll have full newsletters here, and I'll put up pages for
the recurring columns. Right now, here's some articles to whet your
appetite.

Important Note: the articles are arranged by the month that the
newsletter actually arrived in, not by the date of the
events described in the IC sections of the newsletter (the month before)
or the date on the newsletter (the month after).

- Notes From The Chinese Room. Thomas
Craydon's column, entitled "Instantiation and It's Wacky Neighbors". His
first.
- "And What Kind of Crack Are You
Smoking?".
The column by "13185", a mysterious anarch. (?)
- Under The City by Alex Crammer. It's
time
once again for "Good Idea, Bad Idea."
- From The Mouth of Madness by Gaily.
Important Note: Malkavians who quote from the Book of Revelations are
not fooling around.
- "This Is Our Finest Hour" by Gunther
Jergen, the ultimate Bandannaman.
- "Peek-A-Boo!". James Clark, rules
explainer extraordinaire, talks about new proposed Aura Perception rules.
- "You People Write A Lot" Storyteller
Joe
Palmer talks about the newsletter and upcoming events.
- Mac's Column, in which she tells her
side
of the story on her relationship with the Sabbat. A load of bull, or
God's Gospel Truth? You be the judge.
- "too tired to hate" by Reverend Lee.
His
take on the last game.
- Midnight Train to Auswitz. Hey, she
spells it, not me. But underneath the mispellings is a snide little
attack. Check it out.
May 1997 Newsletter
- James' Storyteller Corner (his last
under that name, though he will continue on in a volunteer capacity as one
of our many fine rules explainers.) Entitled "Everything Changes, yet
Stays
The Same". Deep.
- Mac's Column. Her latest, entitled,
I
think, "Comment." Rather plaintive, I think.
- Under The City by Alex Crammer. IC
column
by a regular. Don't miss the top 10 list!
April 1997 Newsletter
- Mac's Column. Sighing about the lack
of
Toreador leadership. No discernible title.
By Author
Right now, the only authors I have listed here are people who have written
more than one column that I have online. Eventually, everyone will be
here, with a nifty author's index, but this is what we've got for now.
Notes From the Chinese Room. Thomas Craydon's column. He's a
Toreador AI guru and his columns are alternately academic and snide. He
gets his own page because I play him and I run the site, dammit. Plus I
wanted to use that cool ARPA picture.
- Mac's Column. Mac is a Toreador and her columns are charmingly blunt,
with the emphasis on 'charming'.
- Alex Crammer writes Under the City, a closely-followed column. He's a
Nosferatu and Keeper of Elysium, and the slots on his "Top 10 Most
Watched" list are coveted by almost all Kindred.
- James Clark writes a column that used to be called the "Storyteller's
Corner": now he does rules explanations, updates, and all that sort of
thing.
